According to TMZ, Atlanta rapper Future is being sued by fellow ATL rapper, Rocko, who is citing a contract breech back in 2011. Rocko is a rapper/ producer and label owner of A1 Recordings. Rocko mentions that Future was required to make his first 6 albums with his label.
Rocko says Epic Records signed on to distribute the albums, but then things got quite complicated. In the suit, he says Future inked a side deal with Epic, which landed him a huge multi-million dollar advances.
Rocko says he was left out in the cold because Future stiffed him to the tune of 25% — the commission he’s owed off those huge Epic advances. In addition, he says he’s owed 20% of Future’s earnings from touring, endorsements, etc.
Ultimately, Rocko says Future is in the hole for more than $10 million.
