After checking into rehab earlier this month, Kid Cudi returned to Twitter to share his appreciate of the support, but also to address Drake.
The Toronto rapper announced a new project titled More Life and released four tracks earlier last week, in celebration of him turning 30, which were “Two Birds, One Stone,” which included a line listeners assumed as a diss towards Cudi: “You were the man on the moon/ Now you just go through your phases/ Life of the angry and famous/ Rap like I know I’m the greatest.”
Cudi definitely caught the wave on the song and responded saying “@Drake Say it to face, pussy. You think it’s a game. I wanna see you say it to my face. I’ll be out soon. Promise,” Cudi tweeted.
Kanye West, who is also close friends with Drake, showed love to Cudi, dedicating The Life of Pablo track “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” to him at his Oct. 25 Saint Pablo tour stop in Inglewood, Calif.
From the looks of it, this exchange of words may not escalate too far, but then again, you never know.
