From Mac Miller’s recent studio release, The Divine Feminine comes the track “Stay” in which the rapper has just provided some visuals for.
The track “Stay” consists of Miller pleading with his girl to stay by his side. IRL, the rapper is doing quite great with girlfriend Ariana Grande.
In the visual, the Pittsburgh MC is found at a deserted beach as he vents his emotions out over the song. “Okay now, baby, don’t you leave my side, don’t even try, I’ma go crazy, girl, you saved me/ meditate me, get me piece of mind,” he rhymes.
The song is just one of the many songs that divulges into Miller’s experiences with love, maturation and sobriety. “This planet has a certain gravity, man – it rises in the morning, it sets at night, and I never really followed that,” the 24-year-old said about his sobriety in a interview with Rolling Stone. “But now I go to sleep at night and wake up in the day, and that’s been a beautiful balance in my life. Along with not feeling like s–t.”
