A few weeks ago, Joey Bada$$ announced to his followers that his sophomore album, AABA, was almost done. On Tuesday (Nov. 8), the Brooklyn rapper explained on Twitter why he needs more time to perfect the quality of his new album and revealed that he will be pushing his project back to the top of 2017.
“The new music is well worth the wait!” he wrote on Twitter. “Today was the original release date for my upcoming album. But it’s been delayed 4 perfection. I wanna say top of next year… new bada$$ album…”
So far, Bada$$ tossed several singles out including “Devastated” and “Front & Center,”. Last year, he surprised critics with a Billboard 200 Top 5 debut with B4.Da.$$.
“I wanna say top of next year… new bada$$ album… #AABA #AABA #AABA #AABA #PROERARECORDS,” Bada$$ also teased.
